1. Who we are

AskKarmas ("we", "us", "our") is a proprietorship business (Udyam Registration Number: UDYAM-MH-29-0192551) providing Vedic astrology, tarot, numerology and matchmaking readings through WhatsApp. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our service, and how we use it.

2. Information we collect

• Contact details: your WhatsApp phone number and, where you choose to give it, your name.
• Birth details: date of birth, time of birth and place of birth, which you share with us in order to receive a reading. For Matchmaking, this includes the birth details of both people being matched.
• Conversation content: the messages you exchange with our WhatsApp number, so that we can respond accurately and recall context within a conversation.
• Payment information: when you make a payment, it is processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank account details ourselves.

3. How we use your information

• To calculate and generate your astrological reading (Kundali, Tarot, Numerology or Matchmaking).
• To maintain the wallet balance and transaction history linked to your WhatsApp number.
• To respond to questions you ask us and to improve the quality of our readings.
• To send you the reading or report you have requested, including as a WhatsApp document (PDF) where applicable.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your birth details for any purpose other than generating the reading you asked for.

4. How your information is stored

Your details are stored securely in our database, accessible only to the individuals who operate AskKarmas. Birth details you provide for one reading may be retained so that you do not need to re-enter them for a later reading, unless you ask us to delete them.

5. Sharing with third parties

We use the following service providers to operate AskKarmas, each of whom processes limited data strictly to provide their service to us: WhatsApp (Meta) for messaging, our hosting and automation providers for running the service, and Razorpay for payment processing. None of these providers are permitted to use your data for their own marketing.

6. Your choices

You can ask us at any time, over WhatsApp, to delete your saved birth details or your entire conversation history with us. You can also stop using the service at any time by simply not messaging our number again.

7. Children

AskKarmas is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent changes.
